Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources (SDHR) carried out a series of virtual qualifying programmes for the two months of June and July, targeting 1180 job seekers from all cities and regions of the Emirate in Sharjah, from the Central Region and the Eastern Region of Khorfakkan, Kalba and Dibba Al Hisn.
The 20 virtual qualifying programmes addressed the most prominent issues raised in the job market, the most important of which are “remote working skills”, and the obligation and tactics needed to work remotely.
His Excellency Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadem, Member of the Sharjah Executive Council (SEC) and Chairman of the Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources (SDHR), highlighted that SDHR plans to develop and qualify job seekers who constitute the future of human resources in the Emirate, in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to investment in human capital as it is the basis of sustainable development.
His Excellency added that SDHR focused on carrying various virtual qualifying programmes that raise the efficiency of job seekers, develop their skills, and prepare them to engage in the labor market, stressing on the importance of the continuing the training process in all areas, as it is part of the refining and developing process of human capital.
